Welcome to Enigmatic Frog!
In my first article, I decided to tell you all about the making-of of the teaser and the full video that launched the blog, for those who were curious about how we did it.
I must thank my friend Alexandre for his amazing job behind the camera and the video editing. We worked a lot on what message shall we transmit. I finally choose five wonderful girls to be my models and I am greatful to them for their hard work and their patience: Helena, Bianca, Nastasia, Ariane and Helene. The shooting took place in Parco Sempione in Milan were we found a big area to film. After a few hours I sent the girls home and finally began to shot for the teaser. The idea was of something mysterious to keep you interested.
When we ended up we had to find the right scene for the teaser. As you can tell, we worked a lot Alexandre and I for this project and it came pretty well I think. We both are extremely satisfied and it was a great project to do that was also really funny. With him, we ended with the video editing at last for the teaser that was our priority.
For the full video, the bigger part of the work was about to start. We had to select all the different scenes and eliminate the wrong ones. Then came the most important choice to make: the order of it. I printed the different scenes selected and mixed them in the better way.
I must thank again Alexandre for his extreme patience and for making all the work so fast, for working with a neurotic always saying him “can you zoom here, can you do that, are filming now?” and touching the camera thinking all he is doing is wrong. Yes I must admit I was quite nervous about all this and was near to make him nervous too… To thank him for his amazing job please go check his Youtube channel AlexMusikTv were you will find a lot of original songs he made and funny videos too. Working with him was really interesting, I learned a lot of things and he learned new things too (of course ahah). I’ll definitely keep contact with him for other projects even if it will not be simple next year because he’s moving to Paris (sob) and I’ll stay in Milan (sob sob)…
Thanks again to my friend and budding make-up artist Aurélia, and the five wonderful girls that helped me filming the clip with a lot of patience (I was one hour late, oops…). Here are some pictures taken by her at the end of the shooting with Alex and Ariane.
I really enjoyed the whole experience and hope that the clip helped the launch of the blog and that I’ll see you all connected soon.
Green dreams, Marie.
