This is the mega trip I made this year in August threw France, Spain, Sardegna and Corsica. Because I become a Japanese tourist when I visit, I selected only a few pictures of the places I liked the most and decided to divide the article in two parts. Here it is.
From my grandparents house we drove to a very cute French town named Carcassonne. I saw it first two years ago and we stayed only one night. We visited the medieval castle which has to be seen by night, it is absolutely lovely.
But what impressed me most of all were all different typical French and cute houses with a lot of vegetation in and out, a sort of little green village.
We moved to Bayonne which is near the ocean but more calm to take a rest before going to the ocean.
We visited the city by night and what impressed me most of all was the architecture. In every street were little houses with wooden boards on façades, a style named Baserri and typical of the northern Spain and south-western France. In the center of the city comes a river and you can walk on a promenade full of lights (which I’m completely nuts about).
