Hello there guys! As you can see, I thought of introducing a new type of article in my blog: a selection made by me of the best-of slash “to try” items, music, movies, etcetera of this week. This is also a selection of trends that have bloomed recently all over the world. Let me know down there if this type of post interests you and let’s get started!
Let’s start with the thing that passions me the most, music of course! Two musics are super trendy, the last one is a recent discover by myself.
Lean On (feat. MØ & DJ Snake) by Major Lazer – how is that possible that this song stayed in my head a whole day without hating it after all? I mean, it is so damn cool the rhytmn, the singer voice and even the melody. Can’t stop listening to it! Warning, don’t listen to it or you will sing it for the next month haha (and even dance like a fool)
Hey Mama (feat. Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha & Afrojack) by David Guetta – Alright I know, it is SO commercial… But I can’t stop singing it when it plays on the radio (a.k.a. Spotify), anyway I think it’s cool.
Lost Stars (Begin Again Soundtrack) by Keira Knightley – Ok. Now for the “intellectual” song, here for you ladies and gentlemen this movie soundtrack sung by the beautiful Keira Knightley, surprisingly very good at singing! The song in the movie has also a version sung by Adam Levine but not telling you much from the movie…
Begin Again with Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo and Adam Levine is actually from 2013/14 (not sure) but I watched it only a few days ago. As you can tell I really enjoyed the movie because of its beautiful songs. The story toi was very interesting (and I love Keira’s acting anyway so…).
Recently the japanese piece of cloth known also as “kimono” has taken the podiums, and is seen everywhere ! Even Vogue France calls it one of Summer 15 trends. And if you want to know more about this summer ‘s fashion trends, you can also check out my article on it here based on the Fashion Week!
You probably have seen them anywhere, from super luxious boutiques to more affordable ones, I am talking about the gladiator sandals. Chloé, Valentino, Alberta Ferretti, Kors and many many others have all done a different interpretation of the classical (we can say it) piece of clothing that seems to have reappeared. Once again you can read an article on Vogue France about the gladiators if you want to see who else designed them.
That was all for this week’s selection of best-of things, I hope you enjoyed and comment below what was your favorite or what is your favorite song right now! Also I will be in Paris for the next week and I am so so so excited because I love this city. If you love it too, if you are planning to go there or if you are daydreaming of the city, make sure to follow me or subscribe via email to get all my future articles on it! Stay tuned, mes petites grenouilles,
